Seems they're elect angels? "I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism. " - 1 Timothy 5:21 NIV Maybe even the angels that fell or didn’t fall were elect?

well if you’re not hearing well you could always just continue to obey God and when He needs to He knows your address. 😁 Seems like that’s what all the prophets and those before us did.

I guess I’m not too sure why I thought it was funny. I see where you’re coming from. I’ve always seen it the same way as you described but for some reason the translation “rebuked” instead or “reprove” made me laugh.

This happens when Abraham goes to Egypt and tells Sarah to tell everyone they’re siblings. He does this cause he’s afraid if people find out they’re married someone might kill him and take Sarah(I guess Sarah’s really attractive). Then Abimelech takes Sarah to make her his wife but God warns Abimelech in a dream that she’s married and not to touch her. God also says “he(Abraham) shall pray for you and you shall live” kinda like the situation in Job where he has to pray for his 3 friends so God might deal with them kindly. Then Abimelechs upset with Abraham for lying(kinda...see Doug’s video when is a lie a lie) and sends them off after he pays them silver. So Abimelech kinda seems like the oblivious one here whereas Abraham and Sarah lie and cause this problem in the first place. so after all this now Abimelech speaks in verse 16 “16 Then to Sarah he said, “Behold, I have given your brother(referring to Abraham) a thousand pieces of silver; indeed this vindicates you before all who are with you and before everybody.” Thus she was rebuked.”How/ why is that funny to you? I found it funny because in my opinion Abraham and Sarah were in the wrong. And not only does God favour them in this matter He goes the “extra mile” so to speak “blessing” them even more. And to top it all off scripture calls it a rebuke towards Sarah. Usually when I think rebuke I’m thinking ouch. I’ve read this before but it never effected me this way the last times.

Can you further explain I don't understand. Can you give a similar example situation? This happens when Abraham goes to Egypt and tells Sarah to tell everyone they’re siblings. He does this cause he’s afraid if people find out they’re married someone might kill him and take Sarah(I guess Sarah’s really attractive). Then Abimelech takes Sarah to make her his wife but God warns Abimelech in a dream that she’s married and not to touch her. It wouldn’t surprise me. thinking of Jonah, God even counts the animals for saving.
That video was really needed. These harsh voices are needed but they tend to stay away from talking about grace and mercy.

Don't know depends on my circumstances and mindset at the time. What if God asked you right now what you wanted, what would you ask for? This is a great and loaded question waris. You’ve got me wondering about myself on this topic

The thing that stuck out the most was the dad filter.(partly cause I have one). And the loneliness which probably caused the alcoholism along with the dad filter.

GFA - gospel for Asia has a 6 month or 1 year discipleship program they run. I think it’s out of Hamilton, Ontario (where I live). I’m not sure if that’s something that may interest you.
