I think if possible it would be nice to ask Doug if he could list all the different ways he saw how people fell from the baptism of fire. SO we can learn from Their mistakes and guard against it once we reach the fire. Would any of you guys be willing to contact Doug about that?

As far as scenario 2 is concerned, I don't know if Doug has ever talked about someone who has reached the fire and then fell away completely and then came back. I'm not sure that even happens. I just listed it because it's a scenario I can envision. Whether it can happen that way is another matter. Of course, it's quite possible for a person who hasn't reached the fire to fall away and then come back. Plenty of people lose their faith in Jesus and then come back later in life. That happened to me, for example. From what i understood in videos doug talks about how the closer you get to God the more narrow the path gets and it takes one step for you to fall of that path. Meaning you have to do less to fall away than someone who is further from God. Which makes sense cause knowing this much and being that close to God requiers more and more obidience. So i believe when you reach baptism of fire that might that point. Cause for that baptism you must be really close to God i believe. So the way doug explained it seems like at that point when you fall there is no coming back. But then again quoting thise hebrews verses seems like there are lots of sepcific conditions to be at that state. The question is: is the baptism of fire equal to conditions listed in hebrews verses which meeting them all and falling away means impossible to repent

ALL THINGS ARE PSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES. But it is TRUE that the more understanding ou have, the GREATER the judgment iF YOU DO NOT OBEY and the HARDER IT IS TO RETURN. The powers of Hell are allowed to ravage the life of the idsobodienct according to their wsin and the amount of understanding they have. MANY CHRISTIANS have been cut of f from the Lord and DON'T EVEN KNOW IT. Some have been given over to their dctrines and unblief and WILL FIGHT AGAINST GOD'S TRUE PEOPLE. SK GOD TO HELP YOU!!!!!

I realized something. Doug once talked about the prayer of Moses about how he was willing to let his name be blotted if God would bring the Jewish people into the promise land and not destroy them for their sins. Eventually Doug talked about how God filled his cup with so much Jesus that he could be willing to do it too. The point is we should serve God and do His perfect will even if there is no reward. I have to accept the fact that I deserve hell. I should serve and obey God because he is God and deserves our obedience. Thus the logical conclusion most be that regardless of the survival rate do what is right pursue the baptism of fire. If i fall it will be my own fault but God be glorified and his will be done. It’s best to at least truly serve Gods will at max capacity than never having reach that level of obedience. Our survival is not the focus I pray that we all endured to the end. We march on to holiness and focus on working out our salvation with fear and trembling. God is faithful.

It is true. The Truth is a value higher than anything we are or feel. It is by what everything has been created. So we have to cherish it above everything else.

It's cool that we actually get to fight together supporting ourselves and stuff. But the nature of the war is lots of friendly fire and poor training for many. its cool that we have place to get information and support from people i would say of the same Spirit

Yeah it’s nice Moni! This narrow path is hard and we need as much Jesus as we can get.

There has been some talk about what it looks like when a person reaches the Baptism of Fire.
As far as I know, the main signs are that sin no longer has a grip on the person, and God's Love just seems to overflow out of them.
Concerning sin, when a person maintains a full cup but hasn't reached the Fire, I think the struggle against sin is more of a struggle. The power of God helps them overcome, but they have to fight against temptation. On the other hand, a person can reach a place where sin just isn't an issue anymore (certain sins anyway - I'm not saying perfection happens yet). Have you ever heard Doug describe when he drives past a billboard with a scarcely-clothed woman on it? Some people might need to make an effort to keep their thoughts in the right place. But Doug has talked about how he'll just weep for the soul of the person and the things in her past that led her to that place, and he'll end up praying for her and so on. I think this kind of illustrates the difference - a person can reach a place where sin is barely even an option and is hardly even tempting at all. But think about it - if someone reaches the place where it is easy to resist sin, and then sins anyway, that's BAD.
And then there is the Love of God that just fills a person. Surely this is there before the Fire, but maybe afterwards it flows more freely when all of the junk is out of the way: When the "yellow stuff" in their cup is minimized and things like impatience or selfishness are reduced, it's much easier for the Love to be demonstrated and then noticed by others.

One piece of the fruit of the Spirit is joy. Some people have that more than others.
