Addiction to porn.

Then I pray that the Lord would give you every good thing you need to fear Him. I pray that He would give you a Deuteronomy 5:29 heart. I pray that any good thing God has given me to overcome porn or anything else you may struggle with, that He would bless you with it, even if I never get it back.

Don't you understand that you are making soul ties to those people? Don't you know that you are trying to join the precious temple of God (your body) to a harlot [1 Corinthians 6:15-20]? Do you not understand that many of those people are abused physically, mentally, and spiritually? Do you not understand that you are feeding off of a death machine that takes pleasure in selling a body; then, that same machine throws that precious soul away like a cheap piece of trash that can be easily replaced?

How could YOU find pleasure in making a Holy God watch as you get all excited over that stuff? Repent and turn away from those worthless idols!

I love you my brother or sister in the Lord. How do you turn from it?

1) Pray for more fear of the Lord
2) Repent and turn away from the sin.
3) Meditate on what the scripture says about lust.
4) Resist the urge when it comes and torment those demons.

All good stuff here, but I'd just like to add. Sometimes with my own struggles I had to realize I was powerless to stop doing things myself. I had to say God I'm sorry I got into this mess. You know how much I hate it & how much I want to do your will & how hard I've tried to get out on my own power, but can't. Please God I humbly ask that you set me free from this. Then believe that he's a good Dad, he can & he will. It can also be helpful to ask Him to change your heart & mind so you see porn exactly the way he sees it. God bless & I'm praying for you.
