I believe I was born again about 4 years ago and I truly believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins. In those 4 years I have not been studying the word or truly tried to live a holier life or life as a true Christian. I always had the thought that he would change me when the time was right so I never tried to change. Recently I’ve been feeling in my heart to have prayer and deliverance but I’m having doubts/fear. I’ve been feeling like demons are attacking me mentally and feeling very alone. I’d appreciate prayer and suggestions on how to pray/study the word.

Well, you must take captive every thought and bring it into the obedience of Jesus Christ. Every thought and imagination that does not line up with Jesus MUST go. That being said, here is what you can do: - 1) Pray and ask God to show you what you need to repent for.
- 2) Whatever He has either shown you already or does show you, repent for it and tell Him you're sorry.
- 3) Meditate on scripture, particularly related to what you are battling:
- If it's anger (do a Google search, "What does the Bible say about anger?")
- If it's fear then do the same...
- 4) Resist the Devil and He will flee; lean on the strength of the Lord NOT your own.
- 5) Pray that God would give you a Deuteronomy 5:29 heart.
