My addiction to watching anime YouTube videos and playing video games is getting out of hand. It's preventing from focusing flinging my homework and studying for tests. I have faile to resist these temptations. I need prayer of delverience to get these demons off of me. I want to stop. The demons are tough the addiction has been a long time. I'm asking for help in desperation. I can't let the enemy ruin anymore of my life. Please help.

I had the same thing happen to me. With God's help, he has helped me with this by helping me focus on spiritual things (colossians 3:1-3). I think it helps to ask ourselves why are you going back to those particular things? For me it was either because of my friends or I was attached to the actors that dubbed the show. So if I watched a new show I could in a way knew they are still alive or more about them if I watched an interview. When really now God is helping me to pray for those people or friends instead of going back to those things like anime when I feel like spending time doing that. God can teach through anything, but we shouldn't force God to teach us something by spending time watching a movie and expecting an answer. When maybe he wanted us to do something else during that time. Have you tried fasting over this issue? I'll pray that you find peace and are set free from your addiction. Although Im not an addict, I have a soft place in my heart for anyone and everyone who has an addiction, no matter to what. I have been a teen counselor for years, through a Christian organization, and became so close to many young people who came through various types of addiction. Jesus Christ will deliver your from this affliction. Keep focused on Him and get a support system locally that is not just online. Addictions that involve the internet or media are especially difficult and you definitely need a support system that isnt just through the computer. I will pray for you that you find what is best for you to overcome and succeed.

I pray that whatever is in God's perfect will, He allows me to share this burden with you and delivers us from every part of it, as overcomers.
I pray that we learn to take comfort only from God, that we don't let anything else be our source of rest.
I pray that we die to self and live to Christ. That we find freedom and fulfillment in doing God's will. That doing good makes us happy.

I too suffered Pornographic and masterbation. I was first introduced to it at maybe 7 or 8. It was a trap and it stayed with me until recently. The Lord set me free completely it was me that went back at times, but now am free to pass along what the Lord has done. So whatever is of Chris, whatever can be passed to heal, take away,destroy and bind I offer it to you. As you have done for me Lord free them as well pour out whatever is in my cup that is of Jesus Christ Holy, Pure not of me of the world. Be free by Christ as HE has done for me. Thank you Father that your will is completely Holy and your will is done. All the thanks, all the praise and all the glory is yours my Lord amen.
