To the beloved FOTM forum after reflecting on the new commandment that Jesus gave us that we love one another as I loved you! I realize that in the past I posted things that didn’t build up the body of Christ. Thing that we’re divisive and attention seeking. Seeking to have more posts and pages completion spirit and envy. I’m sorry. I learned that we are not under law and that faith in Jesus believing that he is a good Father. I’m sorry for wanting to be something when I should be seeking to be nothing. Love your beloved brother Zirui/John Deng

I accept it, and praise God! I was praying for you to find this simple truth since I saw you struggling with similar things I struggled with. I pray that He continues to teach you to be led by the Spirit always. If you all don’t mind, I could use prayer too, I’ve lost a lot of zeal and have been so clouded because of my lack of spending time in His presence. I’ll continue praying for you Zirui! This time for the baptisms, for the Spirit and especially the fire

I need prayer too. I feel like I have no purpose and don't know much about spritual warfare and feel like I'm disappointing God because not making an impact for his kingdom related to spritual warfare and unable to hear his voice to direct my life.
I know I should spend listening time with God late at night because that's the only time I feel where I won't be distracted by much noise. Just been lazy about it.
I know we're not under the law and under grace, in my opinion I feel if I'm not doing spritual warfare and evangelism I feel whatever else it is just vanity and can't enjoy it.
Like yeaterday I enjoyed watching an animated movie about a woman who could live forever, but had to experience people around her that she loved die because they age normally. What I got out of the movie was be gratful to get the opportunity to love people even though that person may die. But shortly afterwards I remembered how majority people don't know Jesus and will miss out on going to heaven and knowing Him.

Fast and pray. I don’t endorse not being spirt-led, but God honors it when we fast and seek Him; when we give up the things that we want for Him.
Sit down and evaluate your life, ask God to make it clear what you need to get rid of and meditate on it, allow Him to show you, and then put your foot down and decide to get rid of it. I shot ahead spiritually from day 1 of my walk a lot because of this.
Set aside time to spend in prayer, an hour in the morning and night. If you don’t have time in the morning, change your sleeping schedule. Be aware because you can just start going through the motions and allowing flesh to take over in all of this, so continue to humble yourself before Him and ask Him to lead, you’ll learn His voice.
So to summarize, fast, get rid of all fleshly desires, and spend extended periods of time in prayer. We are to seek God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and He honors these things.
Note: God could have you do it differently, if you don’t hear Him well enough, go with your gut (that can still be Him speaking). The idea is to still execute these things in some form, and I’m just recommending some basic things that God honors in a person genuinely seeking Him. I’m not a huge fan of prescribing people these things unless it’s a thus says the Lord, but I know it helps and through these things, if done with a right heart, God will get you to a point where you can hear Him. If you have any questions, please ask, whether general or specific, I want to help.
Oh! Last thing, read the Scriptures. If you lack Scripture knowledge, it really really helps to know what God has already given as revelation; it really helps to know the manual, so that you know the direction God wants you and you can test the spirits. Always ask God for guidance, don’t let the devil steal from your time with Him.
