Yes that's the Doug that gets mentioned. He has some videos where he talks of people that go through some rough times and stuff which God uses to help build up scar tissue so they can help others down the road or even help withstand things that are to come. Loneliness is a major, nasty, powerful bad guy. I get a lot of victory over it and then days where I fall. I used to fall to it almost weekly/biweekly. It's much less now. Today was a day I fell HARD though. He hit with the loneliness and then rejection when a friend couldn't meet up with me. Enemy was chirping with the "you're so lonely, useless, nobody loves you or needs you junk" or whatever stupidity he comes with. The best thing to do is reject it IMMEDIATELY. Which can be hard to do but it works. If you even play with the thought for a second the enemy will rush in like a flood. ill reject sexual thoughts immediately cause I know what will happen but for whatever reason sometimes I'll entertain loneliness. This is how dumb a sheep I am. Just reject it sister. A lot of the war is in our minds. Some things are harder than others but the more you practice the easier it gets. Quoting scriptures that pertain to the attacks that come helps overcome also. Pick out your favourite scripture on the Lord not leaving you. Or bring with you always etc

Since Jesus delivered me and I started following Him, my life has been harder in a sense. Remember Jesus said count the cost. This can be a lonely walk but it'll be worth it sis! Try think about the underground church and persecuted church. They get thrown in jail with no bibles, nothing. Sometimes solitary confinement for long periods of time. Sometimes beat by the guards with broken bones and junk and receive no medical treatment! Crazy stuff. If you can, try think about others suffering and pray for them. It might help your loneliness and suffering melt away. The heavenly man is a great read if you ever get a chance. A book written by brother Yun from the underground Chinese church.
