My friend Greg passed away yesterday. I found out today. He was a christian only God knows if he was born again. He did have a strong desire to obey God and want to follow Jesus. I know for the past couple months I felt like I should have called him to see how he was doing/catch up on life. Since we have different schedules we didn't get to hang out that much for the past year. If you feel like maybe you should try to contact a old friend, maybe that's a prompt from God? " Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." - Matthew 5:4 Edit: "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

I don't really know what is been going lately, because I have also been kind of been given some thoughts about calling to some old friends, that I haven't contacted and have not been involved for a long time.
I don't know should I, but this post that you wrote got me thinking about it again, but I don't really know should I, and if I would I would want my heart and will to be right, when I would take contact.
I'm not very open person and even opening myself to people that I used know feels kind of uncomfortable, and it makes me feel even more unfomfortable, because I don't know what I would talk to them, because I don't know can I talk about spiritual things to them at all, without them thingking that I'm crazy. I don't even know what they think about me, but I know that some of them feel hurt, because I moved and wasn't taking contact to them anymore in the past, and nowadays when I look myself about the things I was doing in the past I feel that I wasn't so called "good friend" or not as good that good friend should be in my opinion.
If someone has any word from Jesus about this you can give it.
I hope you are getting better and also praying for you and to people involved.
Thank you for sharing what happened in your life:)

I think just ask how they are doing and maybe it will turn out they are in difficult situation and you have the right tools to offer. Maybe that's the time when advice of turning to Jesus will move their heart. You can say you felt like praying for them and maybe talk about past adventures with them:D I don't know that's just my advice
