It would be speculation since scripture doesn’t really say, but it’s possible he did. I’m not sure his intent was to physically hurt people in anger but more of a directing people out like a Shepard might hit a sheep or swing around his staff.
But Then again psalm 69:9 does say zeal for your house will consume me. Maybe it wasn’t a pretty sight but was exactly what was needed.

Demetri is right that it would be speculation, because scripture doesn't say.
But I'm of the opinion that He didn't use the whip on people. There were sheep and oxen - the whip makes perfect sense for the purpose of driving out animals.

I don't see why not? Godly indignation. He surely had every right to do so! Remember, no one can 'blame' GOD for not being 'nice'. Jesus wasnt this weak white guy who let people walk all over Him. Nope! Not the weak babe in a manger or helpless Man crucified, He is coming back the mighty conquering Warrior and it's gonna be AWESOME!! So yeah, this was just a taste of His passion regarding the Fathers House.
