Even though my dad has been baptized he doesn't really desire the lord that much. He has a lot of fear and is thinking about how to become rich. When I told him about laying treasures in heaven. He said he didn't care. What should I pray to get him saved?

I have same situation with my family and when i pray i just cry. I offer my sorrow and care for them to God. I kind of cry out for help like a child who doest know what to do. I think emotion express intention and God knows what we mean so i dont think words are necessary. However i believe whatever it is that express your concern for your dads soul mixed with faith and trust, cause after all God loves him more than you do. Just go to God in the Spirit and just express it in a raw emotion. I dont think we necessarly need to create and recite prayers. I believe created prayers are helpful to direct us what kind of intentions we should have ( like Jesus told us to pray that Fathers will be done and His Kingdom come) but in general noone can create a prayer that carries your own intentions but you. Just present whatever you have God already knows everything. It might be crying, speaking in tounges or maybe just adressing the situation with words. Sometimes during the day when im at work or any situation i randomly remember for example my grandmoms deep catholic roots and lack of relationship with Jesus and then i kind of go in the Spirit become still and sorrowful (if that makes sense, i dont know how to explain that). I think it might be important to respond to the rising need in your soul to pray for your dad no matter what you are doing in the moment, so thats when those still moments in the Spirit come in handy.
