So what does “court without the temple” mean and what does “given to gentiles and they should tread it for 42 months” mean? When Satan is kicked out of heaven to the Earth, he will be a God to his people. He will be revealed to his own, but will not be known to God's people. God's people will have left the Earth, taken away from the tribulation to come in the rapture. He will tread down the temple for 42 months. This is a picture of Jerusalem on Earth and Satan's time God has allotted to him. You probably could not make this conclusion unless you had information from other verses, such as Rev. 12. In the verse you quoted you are viewing New Jerusalem and Jerusalem Israel. Neither have anything to do with the other. The only thing they have in common is the place of Jerusalem. It is to confuse the situation. Both statements are true, but in two very different places...
So what do these phrases mean? Please number them. 1. “Holy place” 2. “Temple of God” 3. “Daily sacrifice” 4. “Sitteth in the temple of God” 5. “Measure the temple of God”

Either you know what is being discussed, or you think you know. One is the truth, and the other is a lie. Know the difference. Thanks

"This narrative will attempt to show how the answers are figured out."
Dear brother, I understand you are unlikely to receive this, but:
Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
You may now reply "it is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and the glory of kings to search it out."
1 Cor 2:10,11 - "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God."
Romans 11:33 - "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!"
When Jesus explained a parable, the way the disciples understood it, is that they asked Jesus.
Mark 4:34 - "But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples."
Wisdom is better than knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up, and wisdom saves.
In our weakness, His strength is made perfect.
The apostles are fools for Christ, but ye are wise.

I have a follow-up question, for anyone in this thread or otherwise.
Are you Jesus's disciple?
Have you given up all you have? (Luke 14:33) Truly? Possessions, this life, your body, soul and spirit, offering yourself as a living sacrifice to God, as Romans 12:1 says? Do you have things you wouldn't do? Do you surrender 99% or 100%?
Do you take up your cross daily and follow Jesus to be executed? Truly, and not just in pretense?
Do you hate mother, father, sister, brethren, compared to how much you love Jesus?
If yes to all those things, in truth, may God soon make you an overcomer, and give you the Bright Morning Star, the hope of glory, Christ in us.
But if not, I pray, with gravity and sincerity, please God, do not let them deceive themselves that they are some special thing in the kingdom of God. Please let them know they have not even yet become a disciple, much less overcome the world.
Please save us from ourselves and have mercy on us, God.

Those who read my post, who aren't disciples, but have deceived themselves, brother.

Those who read my post, who aren't disciples, but have deceived themselves, brother. It doesn’t make sense to pray for someone to not think of themselves as special in the kingdom of God when they are not even a disciple based on what you’ve assumed.

It makes sense to me. I want to see people who are being hurt by their own pride or self-deception be saved, be helped, have good given to them, and mercy. I would even like to see them change their ways, act humbly and persevere in hardship, and be worthy of great blessing and exaltation.
That's what Jesus wants for all of us.

How can they think they’re something special when they acknowledge that they’re not even a disciple?

They don't acknowledge it, generally. Why don't you ask these questions in a private message, since they are unrelated to the thread?
