What do wolves in sheep clothing Look like? Have any of you guys ever encountered one? How do I protect myself from that? Learn what Jesus and the bible already has said. Ask for his grace and by learning the bible we won't be deceived by false doctrines. Examine there fruit. If we hear God well enough just ask. Edit: I don't know if this applies to wolves, Do all wolves teach false doctrines or just try to teach the bible out of selfish ambitions? I wonder if goats and wolves are the same person? Also Matthew 7:22-23 " Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ "

I listened to some of Joseph Prince, some people think he's a wolf, I don't know. This one teaching starting at 4:40 is very powerful about the cycle of temptation and sin. Also would like to get anyone's opinion about what he says about when we fail and no condemnation in the last 3 minutes of the video. m.youtube.com/watch?v=wm1LbIlmtfg

One thing about the wolves in sheeps clothing is that I’m not sure whether those wolves necessarily know they’re wolves. There are many commonly known ‘wolves’ in the prosperity gospel teaching and such. Though, I’ve learned that when people do preach things like that, they’re under a delusion to genuinely think they’re okay with God. I mean that’s what God does with us when we don’t seek only after Him, only after His perfect will. To protect yourself, just don’t go after men. It’s a common saying: bank tellers don’t go out and memorize every counterfeit so they can avoid getting scammed, they just know the real thing really well so that when they see a fake it’s easily recognizable. In that case, just seek to know Jesus. As you know Him, you’ll be able to spot whether or not people are like Jesus. Pray that God would help you see through His eyes. Pray for the Blood of Jesus and armor to cover you from anything that’s not from Him. God will protect, but He will also throw tests our way, that’s how we grow and get to know Him better

What do wolves in sheep clothing Look like? Have any of you guys ever encountered one? How do I protect myself from that? I have had more experience with this the last couple years than I ever imagined possible. I did not recognize them as wolves in sheep clothing so they did a great deal of damage. A husband and wife that joined our little group, seemingly the most 'christian' people in the world. they knew everything, read everything, but as many times as we admonished them to speak what they heard the Holy Spirit speak, they continued to speak out of their own minds and souls. it was deceptive because they 'seemed' humble and caring. they spoke everything as if they were a part of what God is doing here and now. some key things i have learned to look for: 1. offended easily especially if someone did not recognize their 'authority' or 'status'. 2. they set limits on the grace of God as randomly determined by their own sense of righteousness. 3. they would scold people for not respecting God's holiness 4. their reverence was based on a spirit of fear and not the Holy Spirit so they would have bouts of fear and panic and shame that did not line up with what they claim to know about the love of God 5. ultimately discovered that they operated more out of an orphan spirit and the tree of knowledge of good and evil than God's Spirit. But wow they LOOKED and ACTED and SPOKE like sheep!!! Very very deceptive. a few Bible examples that have come to mind .... Michal David's first wife, she despised David for his freedom to dance before the Lord in what she considered undignified. These wolves we encountered seem to make themselves God's body guards of what was dignified in his presence and shut down many people's freedom for a time. Also 2 Tim 4:14 Alexander "greatly resisted our words". Alexander may have been an outright enemy but these wolves have the ability to sit in meetings and hear the Holy Spirit speak clearly, nod, smile and yet resist the heart message without appearing to do so. i find it very similar to the religious spirit but the religious spirit tries to avoid the people who are moving in the here and now with God. religious people stay away from the small groups that are wanting to communicate with God and let Jesus alone be head. The wolves in sheep clothing want to come and be in these groups but they come to deliver fear, shame and guilt crippling where they can.

wolves in sheep clothing looks like normal everyday Christian people. They speak and act like Christians or they walk and talk like Christians. The danger is not what they look like, it is what they teach, their doctrines. They have truth mixed with error, that is why we have to be as the Berean's and check what they teach against what the scriptures actually teach. It will sound so reasonable, so feel good in our mind and that is when the trap springs if we do not check what they are saying with scripture. Doesn't matter how good it makes us feel, we walk by faith not by feelings. Remember the heart or mind is deceitful and desperately wicked who can know it? So it is dangerous to go by what one feels when hearing a preacher or teacher. Wolves in sheep clothing can also be applied to one's secular life also. They are everywhere, in your job, social club, neighbors, friends, etc. You read in Timothy how in the last days there will be perilous times, read the description of how people will behave right before he returns, pretty good shot that you and I will get hassled by a wolf in sheep clothing no only in the pulpit, but in our everyday business of just surviving in today's world of pleasure seeking, wickedness. As was the days of Lot...
