If you run into a mormon. Mention Alma 7:10, Micah 5:2, and Matthew 2:1. The book of Mormon is saying Jesus will be born in Jerusalem, while the bible says Bethlehem.

I admire them. There is on lady I see often when I come back from work. I seen people ignore her or make fun of her. But ofc just because someone seems to ignore the person doesnt mean theres nothing happening in their hearts. She prayed for me once. In the middle of extremely crowded place. That was cool. They are really serious people with burdens on their hearts.
Btw somebody else youre a super duper member now ;D

These people aren't street preaching, but still evangelizing at a drive in cienma What are your thoughts on this style? I remember a video doug made where we should try praying for people in our mind and see if God tells us to do pray something specific. m.youtube.com/watch?v=eDkQw1kbbDY

Jesus said when the Holy Spirit comes he will convict the world of sin righteousness and judgment not make people have tingling in their hands etc as a manifestation. I’ll admit that stuff makes me angry and I may be in the wrong for that (I’m open to receive correction if I’m in error). there’s new age guys going around causing those same manifestations in people too(heat/cold in peoples hands etc).
Apart from that the gospel and praying for people is wonderful.

They're free to watch on YouTube on their channel. Edit: Also I think Todd White and the "Lifestyle Christianity" group have a similar praying for people style too.

yeah I’ve seen both and like them both. I guess sometimes I wonder if some of these manifestations are actually the Holy Spirit.

Ever since I saw Todd White, the things he did irked me a bit, like the parts with holding people’s legs and making them grow, the constant repetition of “in Jesus’ name”. Since God has opened spiritual eyes a bit more, I see there is some Holy Spirit in there; I’ve come to enjoy the Last Reformation as I do see legitimate fruit out of the ministry and the things Torben says hold true to real, Jesus is Lord Christianity. This video gives a good perspective into how he holds a high standard for Christians. There is still something that’s missing that I can’t put my finger on, like I don’t know how many times Jesus or the disciples in Acts had to say “in Jesus name come out” in order for the demon to come out, and the “feeling the tingling of the presence of God” could come from a lot of spirits that are not so Holy. I guess it could be just missing the real power of God, Doug talks about how, during deliverance, having a “name for yourself” or having spiritual authority is important, as well as actually having discernment of spirits or hearing God clearly is important. So maybe a lot of the street preachers are missing the John the Baptist school: get tutored by God in the wilderness for 20 years and then go out with a bang in 6 months, leading a nation to repentance. Where I’m from, I don’t think I’ve seen a street preacher ever. I’ve thought about doing it, but I guess I don’t know what the Lord has planned for me as I’m waiting on Him, plus I’m a bit of a coward . Though, I like Doug’s method with the Street Corner Challenge and I usually do that while I’m in public. I pray for people as I see them, whatever I feel He leads.

I actually saw one of those the Christian life videos for the first time yesterday. One where they ask an atheists to follow them around as they pray for people.
The whole “more Lord” “intensify it” type stuff just throws me off. I struggle to see the apostles telling the Holy Spirit to increase tingling feelings or whatever in people. I don’t mean to mock it or any of the miracles/healings that happen. Some of the stuff just confuses me, that’s all. I really respect Todd though. Im jealous of his zeal for the Lord. reminds me a bit of how I was when I got born again.
