1 Kings 13:18
English Standard Version And he said to him, “I also am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, ‘Bring him back with you into your house that he may eat bread and drink water.’” But he lied to him. (So. We know that the young prophet died because he disobey God but beliving the lie of this old Prophet but why didn’t the old prophet get punished for doing this horrible thing.)

It just wasn't recorded. Unless he repented and God decided to have mercy on him.

Why do you think God do not give the younger phrophet a chance to repent he was tricked by no means intentionally disobeying maybe?

Why do you think God do not give the younger phrophet a chance to repent he was tricked by no means intentionally disobeying maybe? Maybe he wanted to later, but it was to late too? Kind of how people don't know their last day on earth. Also depends on how close he was to God. Just look at the example of moses. One thing the bible doesn't record is the sin/struggles of Enoch and Samuel.

I've wondered the same thing. its a strange story.
Lesson: when God tells you to do something don't listen to man. Isn't there also a story about a man that listened to an angel and disobeyed God and ended up being killed also?

I can't recall, but in the mew testament it warns to not believe in an angel that gives a different gospel or people that talk about different Jesus.
