it’s satan’s holy high day (In a sense. Even though no day belongs to him). Why participate in any way. It sucks seeing confessing Christians participate or get their kids involved but it almost seems impossible to talk them out of it. The hardest part is convincing someone who gives you the “it’s just a costume”. Just as hard to convince someone doing yoga. “Well I’m just stretching” “I don’t do the meditating or anything”. “I think about Jesus while doing it”
Agreed it’s a heart issue and maybe even a lack of or absence of fear of the LORD.

I agree Halloween is not of the lord. Nor is Christmas.

Just a thought. On 31st I went out for a jog, and I have seen quite a lot of people walking around and knocking on doors. Of course many children.. There were a lot of houses open for halloween. They marked their properties with craved pumpkins, spiderwebs, witches, and all wicked staff related to death. I than thought it is like when the jews marked their doors with the blood, but opposite. They invited death, and it is so sad, so many of them! God please have mercy on us!

That's a very interesting observation! Unfortunately, my husband took our boy trick or treating, first time ever. He said he wont do that anymore though. Me and my daughter stayed in.
