Was reading the bible and it referenced Leviticus 26:12 in 2 Corinthians 6.
" I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. "

Are there translations you guys have for "go-to's". I've been getting better with understanding the king James. I generally read niv and liked it until I started seeing how much it got blasted. I personally like Leonard Ravenhills "nearly inspired version" pop shot lol.

Right, the issue with Romans 8:1 is the manuscript evidence. Whether someone thinks that particular clause is original or not would probably depend on how much weight they give to the various manuscripts. Two major manuscripts worth knowing about are Codex Sinaiticus (called א - 'aleph') and Codex Vaticanus (known as B). When you see a difference between the King James Version and modern translations involving the presence or absence of passages (and not just stylistic differences), it is often the case that these manuscripts have something to do with it. The readings found in the KJV often align with what's called the Byzantine Text or Majority Text. This is a complicated topic and I'm certainly no expert. I just thought I'd point folks in the direction of some of the major factors involved. Regarding Rom. 8:1, neither א or B have that clause. (At least originally, that is. Apparently aleph was edited to have it later - not sure on the details here.)
And for the record, that exact phrase occurs at the end of verse 4, and there is no dispute about this one. How this relates to the originality of the phrase up in verse 1 is hard to say.
