Concerning Genesis 4:7, I've found that in certain passages in Scripture the word 'sin' seems to hint at satan/demons. Try reading the verse with that in mind. If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.Perhaps this isn't the only way to interpret this, but it does seem to fit. Another passage like this is Romans 7:7-25, where Paul is discussing sin, the spirit & the flesh, the law, and that kind of stuff. Here also I get the impression that when Paul says "sin" he is hinting at satan/demons. Here's some examples: But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead. Rom 7:8
For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. Rom 7:11 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. Rom 7:17 And in verse 21 there seems to be a reference back to Genesis 4 - "evil lies close at hand" sounds a lot like "sin is crouching at the door."
Again, I don't think this is the only way to interpret this, considering how the flesh is drawn to sin even without the activity of demons. But what I'm saying does seem to fit.

Interesting verses
(29-31) " What I mean, brothers and sisters, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they do not; 30those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; 31those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away. " 1 Corinthians 7:29-31 NIV
Just noticed about how it says don't worry about your body.
" "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? " - Matthew 6:25 NIV

One of the biggest prophecy in the bible in my opinion.
" A prophecy against Damascus: "See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins. " - Isaiah 17:1 NIV

i feel Jesus is talking about the devil, when he mentions 'adversary' and the 'officer' would be an angel.
"“Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. " Matthew 5:25 NIV

seems like more of a literal passage referring to man. I only say that cause we don’t really settle anything with the devil. Just with Jesus.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: " - 1 Peter 5:9 KJV

What does Revelation 3:9 mean to you?
"I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars--I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. "
Also what do you think about Mark 16:16? (Isn't there some debate some parts of chapter 16 aren't in early versions of Mark manuscripts?)
"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned "
Edit:
Also how does Mathew 7:6 relate to sharing the gospel? Some people aren't ready yet to receive it perhaps?
""Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. "

Would it be an accurate statement to say Jesus Christ is everyone's friend because he died for the whole world?
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. " - John 15:13 NIV

Would it be an accurate statement to say Jesus Christ is everyone's friend because he died for the whole world? "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. " - John 15:13 NIV No. He will say to some depart from me for i never knew you. Whoever is friends with the world is an enemy of God (James 4:4). Not that he doesn't want to be friends with everyone is that not everybody wants to be friends with Him and so they are not friends. Jesus preached to love your enemies and it says God loved the world that he sent His only begotten son... Now it could be said that the world was not God's friend but His enemy and he loved it first. Scripture says we love God because He first loved us.

Liked the last part of this about being overseer of our souls.
" For "you were like sheep going astray," but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. " 1 Peter 2:25

Interesting verse.
" O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; " - Psalm 16:2 KJV
" I say to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." " - Psalm 16:2 NIV

What does it mean how the bible says that money is the answer to all things and also says the love of money is the root of all evil?
